"The education of all children...must always be a national priority. One of the most important goals of my Administration is ...a system of public education where no child is left behind. Unfortunately, among those at greatest risk of being left behind are children with disabilities."

— President George W. Bush, Executive Order 13227

The North Texas Autism Education Center

The North Texas Autism Education Center is a non-profit, volunteer-led organization founded by parents and professionals. Our educational programs include Parent and Professional Training, an Online Autism Resource Center, and Autism and ABA Awareness.

To date, the NTAEC has provided training for over 500 parents and professionals who in turn educate over 2,500 children with autism.  Professionals travel from all over North Texas, as well as neighboring states, to receive training not otherwise available in their own communities.  Many of our workshops are provided at little or no cost, thanks to the generous donations from our community.

Our workshops focus on teaching language and learning skills to children with autism using ABA and the Analysis of Verbal Behavior.  All of our presenters are board certified in behavior analysis and are certified teachers with experience teaching children with autism in Texas public schools.  Our upcoming workshops are listed in Parent and Professional Training.

At this time, our organization does not provide direct services to children with autism, but provides a list of professionals in our North Texas Resources.
